MIND IN PRISON

By Olagunju Muyiwa (B Pharm, M Pharm) - Em Josh

Hi friends,

Permit me to share this thought with you.

The mind is such a powerful tool and an integral part of our being which God has given mankind. It has the ability to conceive, birth, construct and shapen our lives' realities. The mind literally determines how far a person can/will go and how soon he/she gets there. Proper use of the mind frames and empowers an individual to achieve perceived certainties and eventual outcomes.

The story of William Archie who was wrongly accused of rape and murder in December, 1982, in Louisiana, and then freed in March, 2019 after it was proven that he was innocent, hence vindicated, reminds me and proves beyond doubt how powerful the mind works. Napoleon Hill stated, "Whatever your MIND can conceive and believe, it can achieve."

While William Archie was still in prison for about 37years, for a crime he never committed, he usually was opportuned to watch a favourite TV show, "America's Got Talent" and would desire, believing and trusting that one day, he would be a part of the show; not as an audience, but as a performer.

This became a reality, as he joined the 15th edition of the show in 2020. Not only did he perform beautifully, he also received a resounding and overwhelming standing ovation from the about 3,500 audience present at the show including the 4 judges.

Freedom is of the MIND. I went to prison but never let my mind go to prison... - William Archie

When he was interviewed, he said, "Freedom is of the MIND. I went to prison but never let my mind go to prison..." Wow! What a profound conviction!! Such a brilliant mindset!!!

The truth is, our realities bear the convictions of our mindset. Ask yourself questions such as: What do I see? How far can I see? What is my mind conceiving? Is my mind imprisoned? What do I see in the future for myself? Where am I going? What is my perceived tomorrow? They help you engage your mind in silent and intimate dialogues which are vigorous to propel you to your desired outcome.
The holy book says in Prov 4:23, "Be careful what you think, because your thoughts run your life." New Century Version (NCV).

Set your mind loose from every lockup. Although, there seems to be a physical lockdown, your mind necessarily needs not be shutdown. Activate your mind to produce your anticipated actuality.

You shall manifest.
